A will is a document in which you decide who you would like to distribute your property to and how you would like to do so.  If you do not leave a will, your property will be divided according to what is known as “the rules of intestacy” set out in the Administration and Probate legislation.

From time to time, we have volunteer solicitors who will prepare wills for our clients, at no cost.

It is worth checking with our Reception on (03) 9793 1993, if that is currently the case.

Otherwise, our staff will be able to send you a list of solicitors who are prepared to draft wills at a low fee.

Generally, wills are not as expensive as other legal work done by private solicitors. It is worth calling your local private solicitors for a quote.
